Nicole Wassmer worked for over 20 years as a physiotherapist in various functions and departments at the University Hospital in Zurich, including a management role. For several years, she worked in the work-related rehabilitation of people with chronic complaints and delved into topics such as the evaluation of functional performance, resilience training (work hardening) and ergonomics (APA, workplace assessment).

She attended various further training courses, e.g. in business mediation at the University of Applied Sciences for Social Work in Bern and completed training as a mindfulness instructor for stress reduction (MBSR) in 2015, as well as training in mindfulness for people suffering from chronic pain or another chronic illness in 2019. She teaches courses in these areas on a part-time basis.

In 2021, she completed further training as an ACP (Advanced Care Planning) specialist and advises people professionally on drawing up a living will

Nicole Wassmer previously worked as a freelancer at AEH for several years and has been working with us again in the area of FOMA (Function-oriented Medical Assessment) since August 2023.
